Joseph r. Guerrido - founder of la bodega studios
Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Joseph R. Guerrido is a seasoned audio engineer and producer with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. His journey began in the middle school choir as a child and evolved into a lifelong mission to inspire change through sound, creativity, and community. From humble beginnings to owning his own label, Joseph’s story is a powerful testament to resilience, purpose, and passion.
Joseph founded La Bodega Studios not just as a creative space, but as a sanctuary for youth seeking identity, voice, and vision. As someone who grew up without access to artistic resources or mentors, he understands firsthand the transformative power of opportunity. His mission is clear: to reach kids where they are, nurture their gifts, and help them rewrite their futures.
“I created this program because I know what it’s like to be a kid from the inner city with no outlet,” Joseph says. “The idea of helping kids find their identity through art is the driving force behind everything we do. I truly believe the impact will be life-changing for everyone involved.”
With a heart grounded in service and a mind sharpened by decades of industry expertise, Joseph R. Guerrido is more than a mentor—he’s a movement. Through La Bodega Studios, he’s building a legacy of hope, healing, and empowerment, one young artist at a time

Why Choose La Bodega Studios?
Initially focused on film, photo, and audio production, and La Bodega began offering private events when production slowed and quickly became a sought-after venue. But we never forgot its roots: from the beginning, La Bodega has been committed to supporting the community by hosting workshops, programs, and charity events.
Since its opening in 2019, La Bodega has undergone numerous upgrades and renovations. But despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we remained determined to make our vision a reality. We believe that La Bodega has something unique to offer, and we will fight to keep the culture alive.
