Concourse and Yankee Stadium and the block

The Concourse to the block

The Grand Concourse starts in Mott Haven at 138th Street and runs up past the Stadium, the courthouse and the Bronx Museum. La Bodega is on the east side of the same neighborhood it starts in.

For crews, that means a New York street set without a trip downtown: ten storefronts under one roof, no traffic or weather to work around, and street-level load-in.

Questions people ask

How do I get to La Bodega NY from Yankee Stadium?

Take the downtown 4 from 161 St-Yankee Stadium to 125 St, switch to the uptown 6, and ride three stops to Cypress Av. From there it's an 8-minute walk. About 30 minutes in all, or about 16 minutes by car on the Major Deegan.

Is there a photo or video studio near Yankee Stadium?

La Bodega NY is about 16 minutes away by car: a 5,000 sq ft soundproof soundstage with ten New York storefront sets for music videos, film, photo and podcasts.

Does game-day traffic matter?

It can. Google Maps routed around a road closure for a game when these times were checked, so leave extra time on game days.
